Scott called about an hour ago to say that he was heaving to outside of Antigua for the night. The winds are up to 20knts, so he will not be sitting still in the water. He has a tow scheduled for 7:30am our time. Hoping for a quiet night. Ruth

Thanks for the update Ruth.
Wonderful news, Ruth. Thanks for the update and hope he has a good night.
Fantastic! Great job, Scott.
Quite an adventure! A skilled seaman indeed!
Great to hear. Thanks for the update.
Right on time, despite the problems. Hopefully, the night will end with a routine tow, and he will get his new prop installed with no delays.
It’s been fun following his adventure.

That is good news and a relief for you both I am sure
Well, THAT’S a relief.
Good news! Thank you for updating us and I hope the prop replacement goes smoothly.
He looks like he just sailed to Northeast Harbor and back…..as does Resolute. We look forward to feeding him tonight!
And arrive he did! Shawn Malone stopped by Bravo to say hello before going out to meet Resolute, and Tom went out in the dinghy to wave hello. We’ve since been to see him over at the marina, and will feed him dinner tonight, if he stays awake.
Congratulations, Scott!
Very well done! Eat well and rest up….you’ve earned it.
Propeller suggestion: After the propeller is installed and the final lock nut is tightened, drill a hole through one flat of that nut all the way through the nut and the shaft itself and out the other side of the nut. Shove a giant cotter pin through that hole. Or, if you prefer a belt-and suspenders approach, tap the hole all the way through for about a 10-24 machine screw which will go all the way out the other side and then some. Tighten that, and then put a nylock nut (or a pair of jam nuts) on whatever is protruding. Cut the extra off flush and smile.
Seems to me that in any case, someone owes you a propeller and the cost of replacing it.
